About this range
The Curvo is the chair to put someone in when they are at a screen from eight until five and you do not want to hear about it again. The lumbar support is self adjusting, so it finds the person rather than waiting for them to find the lever, and the headrest moves up and down for height. Most ergonomic complaints in an office are a chair nobody adjusted; this one removes the step.
The back is injection moulded nylon with a curved mesh panel that holds its shape across the shoulder blades instead of flattening under load. The seat is plywood with automotive grade high density foam. It runs on a class 4 pneumatic gas cylinder rated to 150 kg, and the components are BIFMA certified.
It is built as a highback only. That is deliberate: the headrest and the curve are the chair, and a midback version of it would be a different and lesser thing. Armrests, castors and mechanism are chosen on this page. Any fabric in our library covers the seat, priced in bands. Made to order in South Africa in about two to three weeks, delivered and installed by us in Cape Town, guaranteed for five years.
