About this range
Most desks waste the floor beside them. This one does not, because the pedestal is not parked next to the desk, it is holding one end of it up. You get a working desk and lockable storage in the footprint of the desk alone, which is the difference between fitting eight people into a room and fitting six.
The top is a 22 mm melamine floating top on a steel frame, and you pick the leg profile: rectangular, A frame, loop or round. Widths run from 1200 to 1800 mm at 750 mm deep, so the same desk suits a tight admin corner and a manager who wants elbow room. The pedestal is 320 mm wide with a top lock, and how it is laid out inside is your choice, from two drawers and an open box through to four drawers or a drawer and a door.
A wire mesh cable tray is part of the desk rather than an afterthought bolted on later. Add a modesty panel, a CPU holder, and power in the top if you want it, in which case a row of these desks links to each other and the whole bench needs one wall plug rather than one each. It is a quick ship item, ten to fifteen working days, and we deliver and install it ourselves in Cape Town.
