About this range
A meeting table is two purchases that have to agree with each other, a top and a base, and most of the trouble with buying one comes from those arriving separately and not fitting. Here the top is pre drilled for the base you chose, the two are priced as one figure, and one table turns up.
Tops are round or square, in melamine at 22 or 32 mm, from 700 mm for a two person corner up to 1500 mm for a room that has to seat six. Bases are powder coated steel: a disc base for the smaller round tops, a criss cross frame at 852 by 852 mm for anything from a metre across, and a sculpted cross where the table is on show.
Which base goes with which top is not a free choice, it is a stability calculation, so the page only offers the pairings that work. That is deliberate. A 1500 top on a small disc base is a table that rocks every time somebody leans on the edge of it. Made to order in South Africa, delivered and installed by us in Cape Town.
