About this range
A lab, a workshop or a clinic needs a chair that can be wiped down, and fabric cannot. The Libra is an injection moulded PU shell, so a spill is a cloth rather than an upholstery job, and there is nowhere for anything to soak in.
The mechanism is a typist mechanism with an infinite tilt lock: the back tilts and locks at any angle and moves up and down independently, and the seat stays level. That suits somebody working at a bench for hours more than a synchro tilt does. It runs on a class 4 pneumatic gas height adjustor rated to 150 kg, and the components are BIFMA certified.
A draughtsman gas lift is available for bench height work, which is what most people buying this chair actually need. Made to order in South Africa, delivered and installed by us in Cape Town.
